Dogs are not the target. Humans are.

We block or redirect content involving animal distress, injury, cruelty or unsafe situations.

We protect animals. We support responsible pet ownership. We take this seriously.

BarkThread is built so animals occupy the interface and humans are the exhibit. Roasts target humans only. Content that shows animal distress, injury, cruelty, or unsafe situations does not proceed to analysis or roast.

If an upload fails the Animal Welfare Shield, the session stops there—no roast, no interpretation, no monetisation path. That is intentional.
